will be held on January 6 & 7, 2018 at Evergreen Lake.
The 8th annual Evergreen Pond Hockey Tournament will be held the weekend of Jan. 6 and 7, 2018, on the world's largest Zamboni-groomed outdoor ice rink on Evergreen Lake.
With snow banks as sidewalls, no goalie, and the thrill of playing on a frozen lake while factoring in nature's obstacles as the sport intended, you won't find a better tournament than this one. The tournament is organized by Evergreen Park & Recreation District (EPRD) on 12 hockey rinks over the 8.5-acre rink at Evergreen Lake.
Tournament start is 7 AM each day. Teams will play a minimum of three games each, with two 15-minute periods per game, 4 on 4 (with teams of up to eight members to facilitate player rotation).
Cash Prizes!
Teams compete for a $1,500 cash prize for the champions in the Open Division, plus cash prizes for all divisions.
Cost
Registration is $400 for the Open, 40+ Open, Rink Rat Open, Women's Divisions, and $350 for the Rink Rat Amateur Division.
