Become certified in Mental Health First Aid and learn skills, resources and knowledge to help an individual in crisis connect with appropriate professional, peer, social, and self-help care!
Mental Health First Aid is an interactive eight-hour course that presents an overview of mental illness and substance use disorders in the U.S. and introduces participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems, builds understanding of their impact, and overviews common treatments.
The curriculum includes access to a two-hour self-paced course, and a 6.5 hour live, interactive session led by certified Mental Health First Aid Instructors. You can expect to receive communications about the two-hour self-paced course approximately 10 days before the course start date.
To attend a class, you must:
• Complete the self-paced course prior to the scheduled time of class on September 26, 2025
• A valid email address in order to receive materials and log in
This course is designed for anyone who would like to make their community a healthier, happier and safer place for all. Mental Health First Aid is for everyone—from neighbors, parents, friends, veterans, first responders, people in recovery, and community leaders.
