Event Description:
Do you love horses and want to get more of them in your life, but you are not exactly sure how? Or you are a kid, or you have been hurt or frightened of horses before? Then have we got exactly what the Dr. ordered for YOU!
Join us Thursday evenings at the ResqRanch in north Evergreen for our after school classes hosted by the One and Only Life Coach for People with Pets, Dr. Jena Questen.
Each class is structured around 4 principles, like legs of a table, and are suitable for ALL AGES. In each class we will discuss:
1) Horse Care - from a veterinarian
2) Horse Training - using positive reinforcement or R+
3) Horse Trainer Health- keeping you safe and healthy around horses
4) Horse Advocacy-learn about horses in need and what YOU can do to help.
Bring carrots and apples, because you can have a special meet and greet with the horses in our sanctuary at the end of each class.
This class is perfect for horse crazy kids and horse curious adults who would love to be a part of our R+ Revolution! And if this ends up being something you are super interested in, you too could work towards becoming Horse Trainer of the Year! Watch the video to see what it takes.
