Event Description:

SUMMER STEAM CAMP - VETERINARY MEDICINE
Veterinary medicine is an incredibly popular science for young people.  It is also pretty challenging, as the patients cannot tell us how they feel.  Campers learn about hematology (study of blood), parasitology (common skin, fecal and blood parasites) and microbiology (microscopic organisms which cause diseases).  They will do case studies on small and large animal diseases based on symptoms.  Campers create a case book, which they will take home at the end of the week.

Meet us in our cute, new classroom as early as 12:30.  Be sure to pack a snack and water.  If you signed up for a full-day camp, be sure to also bring a lunch!

This class is also offered July 8th-12th, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

$190 / week for this half-day camp, which includes all materials and take-home project. 
$345 / week for a full-day camp.
