INTRO TO MINDFULNESS MEDITATION: 6-Week Course via ZOOM
Enjoy the support of a mediation community while learning the fundamentals of a Mindfulness Meditation practice with Certified Mindfulness Educator & Mentor, Lauri Glenn, owner of Widespread WellBeing in Bergen Village. This course will be held online via ZOOM so you can join from wherever you are! This is an opportunity to learn and practice, share and discuss together, deepening our learning in a supportive group.
Each week builds on the previous and you will learn how to “anchor” your attention mindfully, how to work with sensation and the breath, how to work with the mind/thoughts, emotions and difficulty in your life. These skills translate directly to all the moments of your life. Skillful application of these tools over time, can create more ease, and joy and less stress in your life. The time on your “cushion” (meditating) is really the training ground for the rest of your life off the cushion.
