Event Description:
Being a teen is hard enough. But being a teen who lost a loved one or friend can be especially confusing and painful, making the adolescent years that much harder. On Sunday, Feb. 5, Mount Evans Hospice will offer a special adventure experience for bereaved youth ages 10 to 18 who are coping with grief and loss. Grief counselors from Mount Evans will oversee the program, which will take place from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather. Snowshoes will be provided.
