Event Description:
The Snowflake Circus offers camps that focus on having fun while learning the skills and movement of the circus arts including aerial fabric, hanging hoop, trampoline, hooping, juggling, and
highwire. In small classes of 6-9 students, children (and adults) learn and practice balance, flexibility, and
strength. As an added bonus, students establish a sense of self confidence and individuality.
There is something for everyone in the circus arts. Beginner classes introduce all the different circus
apparatus and skills from tumbling to balance. If aerial fabric or highwire doesn’t interest a student, they
can explore hooping, juggling or even stage set up.
Safety is number one priority at The Snowflake Circus. Students are only allowed to do tricks that
they are ready for and are always supervised by Molly, Andres or their two other experienced circus
performers, Jackie Seydel and Tessa Vallin.
The weekly summer camps, running from June to August, have been created for children ages 5 and
up from beginner to intermediate. Classes are held from 10am-3pm. Students are asked to wear
comfortable clothing, and bring a sack lunch and water bottle. There will be a Camp Show for all parents
and friends to attend on the final day of each camp.
The Snowflake Circus aims to support and challenge their students in a safe, fun and loving
environment. Molly and Andres are proof that the circus can be an exciting way of life – a career, but it
can also be a unique experience that builds confidence and creates individuality.
