Evergreen Rotary is hosting 'Fun'draiser on behalf of Seniors' Resource Center (SRC). This is a unique opportunity for people who care about our organization and its noble cause to show their support by sponsoring Mel Nuchols to compete in the 100 holes of Golf on behalf of SRC. The Seniors' Resource Center, celebrating 35 years of dedicated service, helps aging adults maintain their independence and remain at home for as long as possible with self respect and dignity. SRC provides a multitude of resources and we encourage family members to take advantage of our resources before they are faced with a critical situation. Services provided In the Home, Day Activities for Adults, Individual Care Assessments, Senior Advocacy, Transportation, and Coordinated Services for people with Special Needs are areas of our expertise. In Jefferson County alone, 13% of our population is 65 or older and by 2020, that number is expected to increase to over 19%.
