Summary

The Home Health Operations Assistant provides administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient functioning of the home health program. This role involves coordinating daily operations, assisting with compliance and documentation, supporting staff and volunteers, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to compassionate home health care.

Essential Functions:

· Provide administrative and operational support to home health leadership.

· Assist with patient intake, scheduling, and documentation management.

· Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

· Coordinate communication between staff, volunteers, patients, and families.

· Manage office operations, supplies, and equipment.

· Support quality assurance initiatives and data reporting.

· Assist in onboarding and training new staff and volunteers.

· Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.

· Coordinate and attend meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes as needed.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

· Ability to consistently promote, support, work, and act in a manner in support of the Mount Evans mission and values.

· Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

· Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Education:

· High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience:

· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, quality improvement, or a related role in home health and/or hospice.

· Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid Conditions of Participation, state regulations, and accreditation standards for home health and hospice.

· Experience conducting audits, investigations, and compliance training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.50 per hour
