Job Title: Front Desk Team Lead 

Pay rate: $18.00/hour 

Company: Aspen Park Vet Hospital 

Location: 25871 Duran Ave, Conifer, CO 80433 

Work Schedule: 30+ hours per week between Mon-Fri 7:30a-5:30p, Sat 7:30a-12:30p

Job Summary: The Front Desk Team Lead at Aspen Park Vet Hospital is a key leadership role focused on building a strong, cohesive team to ensure a seamless and positive client experience. The ideal candidate is a motivational and empathetic leader with a passion for developing people by seeking to understand their needs. This role is crucial for fostering a collaborative environment, guiding daily operations, and continuously improving team performance and client satisfaction through support and mentorship.

Responsibilities:

  • Support, train, and mentor the front desk team, focusing on individual and collective growth to build a collaborative and highly effective unit.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for escalated client issues, resolving complaints effectively and empathetically.

  • Organize and manage the daily workflow and scheduling for the front desk team.

  • Enhance the overall customer experience by identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to boost efficiency.

  • Collaborate closely with all departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

  • Foster a positive and supportive team environment, promoting open communication and mutual respect.

  • Set an example of integrity, professionalism, and dedication to providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in a customer service, team lead, or supervisory role.

  • A genuine desire to build a strong team by seeking to understand employees, not just seeking to be understood.

  • Experience in a veterinary or medical office setting is preferred, but not required.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a talent for de-escalation.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • A passion for training and developing team members.

  • A desire to provide excellent customer service that improves and evolves over time.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
