Director of Programs
Job Overview:

The Director of Programs is a vital leadership role focused on the management, supervision, and enhancement of our individual and group therapeutic services, peer leadership program and youth programming. This role also includes building and maintaining strong relationships with local schools and community partners. This individual will collaborate with a diverse team to ensure the delivery of evidence-based, client-focused therapeutic and youth programs that are in line with our core mission.  

?Key Responsibilities:

Individual and Group Therapeutic Services
  • Actively recruit, hire, supervise and evaluate skilled therapists to provide diverse therapeutic offerings to the community.  

  • Provide comprehensive support and consultation to the therapist and intake teams

  • Supervise provisionally and newly licensed therapists, including oversight of licensure paperwork

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and families needing additional administrative support 

  • Plan and provide relevant professional development and training opportunities to therapists

  • Manage the internship program

  • Conduct monthly therapist and intake team meetings in collaboration with the Executive Director

  • Provide group therapist quarterly case consultation

  • Provide oversight for collection of client evaluation surveys

  • Ensure that therapists are adhering to the policies and procedures of Resilience1220

Peer Leadership
  • Develop strategic objectives and implementation plan of the Peer Leadership program in coordination with the Peer Leader Coordinator. Oversee the collection of evaluation data

Administrative
  • Provide direct supervision to two staff members
  • Budget oversight of program activities

  • Grant reporting in Coordination with the Program and Operations Coordinator

  • Collaborate with the Director of Communication and Community Engagement on agency communications related to clinical issues and programming  

  • Ensure that all programs are evidence-based, mission-appropriate and client-focused.

  • Work with the Board of Trustees and the Executive Director on long term strategic planning for Resilience1220

Stakeholder Engagement
  • Forge and sustain productive relationships with team and board members, educational leaders, and community organizations.

  • Recruit and meet quarterly with volunteer school liaisons

  • Provide monthly updates to the Board of Directors.

  • Actively engage in R1220 events, including public speaking and representation

Continuous Learning and Professional Growth
  • Remain updated with the latest research findings and industry best practices, and incorporate them when relevant.

  • Maintain state licensure expectations for clinical supervision, as stated by the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)

Ethics and Compliance
  • Ensure all programs and services adhere to local and national regulations and standards.

  • Uphold the utmost standards of professional ethics, safeguard patient confidentiality, and address any ethical issues with integrity.

Skills and Competencies
  • Master’s Level and Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor required

  • 5-7 years of experience providing evidenced-based therapy to adolescents, adults and families

  • 3-5 years nonprofit program management experience

  • Solid knowledge of clinical supervision and care coordination

  • Knowledge of trauma-informed principles and practices

  • Strong client and community relations and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of program design, implementation, budgeting and evaluation

  • Flexibility and passion for non-profit work

?Compensation Package:

Base Annual Salary Range: $63,000-68,000 w/ $3,600 benefits package

Benefits Summary
  • Health and Dental Reimbursement Benefit Coverage Variable
  • Paid Time Off: 15 vacation days annually, with an accrual of 1 extra day per year up to 20 days. 10 holidays

  • Sick Leave: 5 days annually, resets at the start of each calendar year

  • Maternity Leave: 12 weeks unpaid leave with healthcare coverage

Professional Development: Annual Allowance of $250
